MATCH PREVIEW | Dons v Oldham

The Dons return to the Eco-Power Stadium to take on Oldham in Betfred League One this weekend.

The game will see two unbeaten records put on the line, with the Dons and Oldham both winning all of their games in the division so far in 2023.

The two teams have already met this season, with Richard Horne’s side producing a brilliant comeback to edge a Challenge Cup second round tie at the Eco-Power in February.

Jack Sanderson scored four tries that day, while Brett Ferres also crashed over for his first try for the Dons.

Ferres is in line to make the 400th appearance of his professional career, which includes representing England at international level, and winning the Super League Grand Final with Leeds Rhinos in 2017.

The Dons made it four straight wins last time out at Cornwall, with skipper Sam Smeaton continuing his fine try-scoring form by crossing the line on four occasions to keep his side in second place.

Stuart Littler’s side have played a game less than the Dons but have still managed to climb into third position after wins over London Skolars, North Wales Crusaders and Rochdale Hornets.
